BENVENUTI IN ORTISEI IN VAL GARDENA
Ortisei è il luogo principale della Val Gardena e è una meta molto amata dai molti turisti a causa del suo bellissimo centro colorato, i suoi vincoli meravigliosi e le vie strette.
Il nome del paese "Ortisei" deriva nome del maso Ortiseyt, 1288 d.C. situato al centro dell'insediamento.
Dopo il 1550 d.C. il maso è stato rinominato Mauriz e si trova al giorno d’oggi nel centro del paese di Ortisei.
Il comune di Ortisei si trova a 1236 metri sopra il livello del mare e ha circa 4500 abitanti. Ortisei è situato all'inizio della Val Gardena, lungo la riva del torrente "Derjon" che scorre attraverso tutta la Val Gardena. Le abitazioni sono state costruite fino ad un'altitudine di circa 1300 metri sopra il livello del mare, raggiungendo l’orlo del bosco del Rasciesa verso nord e il massiccio del Seceda verso il nord-est. Sopra il paese di Ortisei c’è un altro paesino di montagna: S. Giacomo; qui si è svolta gran parte della storia di Ortisei, dall'età del bronzo fino al medioevo. Ortisei è conosciuto anche per la lavorazione del legno e come luogo di nascita di Luis Trenker, noto regista, attore e scrittore. |

WILLKOMMEN IN ST. ULRICH IN GRÖDEN
St. Ulrich ist der Hauptort des Grödnertales und ist wegen seinem bunten Ortskern, seinen wunderschönen Winkeln und Gassen ein sehr beliebtes Urlaubsziel vieler Touristen.
Der Name des Dorfes St. Ulrich "(Ortisei)" stammt vom Hofe Ortiseyt welcher im Jahre 1288 nach Christus im Zentrum der Siedlung lag. Ab dem Jahre 1550 wurde dieser Hof Mauriz genannt und liegt auch heutzutage immer noch im Zentrum des Dorfes St. Ulrich. Die Gemeinde St. Ulrich liegt auf 1236 m Meereshöhe und hat etwa 4500 Einwohner. St. Ulrich erstreckt sich am Anfang des Grödnertals entlang des Baches "Derjon", der durch das ganze Tal fließt. Die Siedlungen wurden bis zu etwa 1300 Metern Meereshöhe aufgebaut und erreichten somit den Raschötzer Wald, nördlich davon befindet sich die Seceda Alm. Über dem ursprünglichen Dorf St.Urlich, liegt ein weiteres Dörflein: St. Jakob. Hier spielte sich dazumal ein Großteil der ulricher Geschichte ab (ab der Bronzezeit bis zum Mittelalter). St. Ulrich ist auch bekannt für die Holzverarbeitung bzw. Schnitzerei und auch als Geburtsort von Luis Trenker, bekannter Regisseur, Schauspieler und Schriftsteller. |
